Find Edges to Enhance Baked Lighting
After baking lighting from a 3d model, a quick way to add highlights to the hard edges is the Find Edges Filter in Photoshop.
1: baked lighting texture
2: photoshop > filter > stylize > find edges > invert
3: color dodge 2nd image over 1st at 36 opacity
I also added drop shadow to define some shapes.
You'll want to touch up the find edges layer, it can create extra lines you can just erase from the layer. Change layer settings what looks best for you.
There may be some missing highlights, just connect the dots with what's already there.
